Midland artist Kim Cowger likes to work with puzzles – glass puzzles. You might even call it a “Panefull Addiction,” which is the name she’s given her stained glass business. “Designing stained glass panels is akin to designing a puzzle,” Cowger says. “It’s definitely all in pieces! Then I fuss over making the pieces fit perfectly snug in the finished piece.”
“I enjoy making contemporary-styled window panels,” Cowger says. Her glass line includes these panels, sun catchers, treasure boxes, decorative accessories, and personalized photo key fobs, pendants. and charms, “The jewelry items are made with lead-free silver solder and with a variety of beads, including Swarovski crystals,” she says. “I also use high-quality solder for smooth, clean solder beads and joints.”
She lives part-time in Midland and at this home in Lake Leelanau: “My heart is up north. I love the hills and the many lakes. I’m a water person!
